NIK keynote: Davide Roverso

Davide Roverso

Davide Roverso holds a PhD in Computing Science from Aberdeen University (UK) and currently leads the analytics team at eSmart Systems. Davide has 25 years’ experience in the field of Machine Learning and Big Data Analytics, with applications in diagnostics, prognostics, condition monitoring, and early fault detection in complex processes, in sectors ranging from energy to medicine and environmental monitoring. He has authored over 90 publications in international journals, conference proceedings and edited books.

UDIT Keynote: Professor Alf Inge Wang

Alf Inge Wang

Alf Inge Wang is currently working as a professor in Game Technology at the department of computer and information science at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) where he teaches courses on programming, software architecture, mobile application development and game development. He received his PhD in software engineering in 2001. His research interests are game-based learning, game development, game concept development, computer support for mobile collaborative work, peer-to-peer computing, software architecture, and software engineering education. He has published more than 90 scientific papers including journal papers, book chapters and being editor for a book. He has also been in several the program committees for various conferences and workshops and arranged several special sessions and workshops.
February 6h 2013, Alf Inge won the Norwegian Award to Technical Achievement 2014.
Alf Inge is also the inventor and co-founder of Kahoot! and the chairman of JoinGame.

Title: Spill deg frisk og smart!

Denne presentasjon gir svar på spørsmål som «Går det an å få bedre helse ved å spille dataspill» og «Hvordan kan man gjøre læring mer underholdende ved hjelp av dataspill?».

Foredraget vil presentere funn innen forskning relatert til hvordan spill påvirker fysisk aktivitet og hvordan spill påvirker motivasjon og engasjement for læring.

Presentasjonen vil også gå inn på viktige prinsipper fra dataspill for å motivere og engasjere. Keynoten vil bli en blanding av erfaring fra praktisk bruk, demonstrasjon og presentasjon av forskning innen exergames og spillbasert læring.

NOKOBIT Keynote: Professor John Krogstie

John Krogstie holds a PhD (1995) and a MSc (1991) in information systems from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), where he is currently a full professor in information systems at the computer science department (IDI). At IDI he is Department Head. John Krogstie is the Norwegian representative and previously Vice-Chair for IFIP TC8 and was chair of IFIP WG 8.1 on information system design and evaluations (2010-2015). His research interests are information systems modelling, information systems engineering, quality of models and modelling languages, eGovernment and mobile information systems. He has published around 300 refereed papers in journals, books and archival proceedings since 1991.  H-index as of Oktober 2019 is 41, G-index 69 according to Google Scholar.

NISK keynote: Professor Audun Jøsang

Audun Jøsang is professor in cybersecurity at the University of Oslo. He holds a Master’s degree in Information Security from Royal Holloway College, University of London, and a PhD from NTNU in Norway. Before joining the University of Oslo, Prof. Jøsang worked as Associate Professor at QUT in Australia, as telecommunications engineer for Alcatel in Belgium and for Telenor in Norway. His research focuses on cybersecurity threat intelligence, trusted computing, identity & access management, and reasoning under uncertainty with subjective logic. Prof. Jøsang acts as the Norwegian national representative to IFIP TC-11.

Title: Hvorfor og hvordan digital sikkerhet skal integreres i utdanningen.

Nasjonal strategi for digital sikkerhet, og nasjonal strategi for digital sikkerhetskompetanse fra 2019 representerer et radikalt skifte fra tidligere nasjonale strategier der informasjonssikkerhet i utdanningen har blitt stemoderlig behandlet for å si det mildt. Dette foredraget viser utviklingen frem mot dagens strategi, nevner konkrete initiativer og aktiviteter som f.eks. arbeidsgruppa for IT-sikkerhet i teknisk utdanning, og tar opp utfordringer med å integrere digital sikkerhet i utdanningen på alle nivåer.
